NINR reminds the extramural community that all grant applications, cooperative agreements, and progress reports submitted on or after May 25, 2015 must comply with the new biosketch format described in NIH Notice-OD-15-032. This requirement applies to all types of applications (new, resubmission, revision, renewal, and progress reports) for all programs (research, training, and fellowship). Please note that failure to follow the policy may result in withdrawal of applications from consideration.

Important changes to the biosketch format include extending the page limit from 4 to 5 pages and allowing applicants to describe their significant contributions to science. Applicants also may now link to a full list of their published work found in publicly available databases such as MyBibliography and SciENcv.
