Acting Scientific Director of NINR’s Division of Intramural Research Dr. Ann Cashion and Drs. Kathleen Calzone, Jean Jenkins, and Alexis Bakos will present “Blueprint for Genomic Nursing Science,” as a part of the Journal of Nursing Scholarship Genomic Nursing Webinar Series on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, 3:30-4:30 p.m.

In the upcoming webinar, Drs. Cashion, Calzone, Jenkins, and Bakos will present recommendations from a 2012 Genomic Nursing State of Science Advisory Panel. This blueprint provides a framework for furthering genomic nursing science to improve health outcomes. The presenters will also offer suggestions for targeted research to build the evidence base of the value of genomic information.
