Join NINR for the next open session of the National Advisory Council for Nursing Research (NACNR), which will be held on May 15, 2018 at 12:30 PM in conference room 6, building 31, C wing, 6th floor, on the NIH campus. Visitors are welcome to attend.
At the meeting, Dr. Michael Lauer, NIH Deputy Director for Extramural Research, will present the "NIH Clinical Trials Initiative to Improve Stewardship of Clinical Trials."
The meeting will also feature an overview of NINR’s Palliative Care and End-of-Life Portfolio and the following presentations:
- Palliative Care: Addressing the Urgency of Supporting Serious Illness Family Caregiver
- Decisions That Matter: Translating Palliative Care Research into Policy and Practice
- Pediatric Palliative Care: From Population-Level Studies to Intimate Decisions
A moderated panel discussion will follow the presentations.
