Dr. Jessica Gill, Lasker Clinical Research Scholar and Chief of the Brain Injury Unit in NINR’s Division of Intramural Research, has been selected as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (AAN). The Academy will honor the 173 nurse leaders selected in the 2017 class of fellows during its annual policy conference that will take place October 5–6, 2017 in Washington, DC.
AAN fellows are nurse leaders who have made significant contributions to nursing and health care. Dr. Gill is being recognized for her outstanding research in brain injuries to improve the care of military personnel, athletes, and civilians.
