Tell Us What Nursing Research Means to You

The World Health Organization has designated 2020 as the International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife, highlighting how vital nurses and midwives are to the health and well-being of our global community. The ongoing COVID-19 public health crisis has reminded everyone of the daily sacrifice and dedication of the nurses and other healthcare workers who are caring for people, often at great risk to themselves.

In honor of the Year of the Nurse and the Midwife, NINR would like your help in capturing what nursing research means to those who live it. We are gathering this information to learn more from our community and collectively begin describing the next frontiers in nursing science.

Tell us how you would explain nursing research to someone outside the field, such as a neighbor, family member, or friend. Picture the future of nursing research in 5 or 10 years and share your vision below.

Please keep your responses brief. Do not include any personal information such as your name or email address.

Responses will be collected until August 31, 2020.

Thank you for providing insight into the current and future state of nursing research.
