AI Bootcamp

The 2025 Artificial Intelligence Boot Camp will explore the impact that Artificial Intelligence (AI) has on nursing science and health research. Over two days, this program will enable attendees to understand foundational principles of AI, actionable steps to incorporate AI into their work, exemplary research and clinical applications of AI, and ethical considerations surrounding AI adoption for nursing science and health research. If you are unable to attend, presentations will be recorded and released for viewing after the event on the NINR website. 

Course Objectives

  • Describe the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and explore the use of AI in promoting health and preventing Illness.
  • Describe foundational concepts around AI and steps for how to get started.
  • Explore ethical, legal, and social implications of AI.
  • Present research and clinical AI applications that enable us to extend the scale and geographical reach of studies and activities and improve the safety, efficacy, and quality of healthcare.
  • Discuss strategies to build partnerships and collaborations among scientists, clinicians and community members.
