This five-day virtual workshop aims to:

  • Summarize the state of the science and identify knowledge gaps related to disease related malnutrition and other forms of malnutrition that might interfere with treatment outcomes in clinical settings in the U.S.
  • Suggest innovative research strategies that could help identify individuals that are (or will become) malnourished in a variety of clinical settings and disease states.
  • Examine research to understand, measure, and address malnutrition in clinical settings considering access to health care services and special populations to promote health equity.
  • Suggest opportunities to train the next generation of nutrition researchers addressing malnutrition.
  • Summarize the state of the science and identify knowledge gaps related to clinical malnutrition in the U.S. in pediatrics from infant to teenager, including related maternal/family topics.

Submit a poster abstract by August 19, 2022 for an opportunity to present your research. Register to participate in panel discussions, network with colleagues and share innovative nutrition research in two poster sessions.
