Nurse scientists play a critical role in climate change research to inform public policy and healthcare practice. Dr. Linda McCauley will share highlights of her 20+ year career as an environmental and occupational health nurse researcher and describe how her research program pivoted from the effects of pesticide exposure on vulnerable populations to climate change. She will provide perspective on the compelling questions nurses are poised to answer around climate change and public health.
